Prayer is the engine-room of everything we do at St Mary's.

Don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God your need, thank him for all he has done. The Bible; Philippians 4:6

There are three main opportunities for us to come together as a church family to pray:

Setting a Watch

At 6am and 6pm daily we meet together via Zoom for half an hour to pray for our church and community, to support each other, and to collectively offer to God our stories, concerns and dreams.

1st Priority Prayer

On the last Wednesday of every month, we host a 1st Priority Prayer evening. Our weekly small groups do not meet in the last week of the month to enable us to make praying together our top priority.

When?   7.30-8.45pm

Where?  St Mary's Church or Zoom

Building to Serve Prayer Meeting

On Mondays at noon we meet via Zoom for an hour to continue to pray for our town and our plans for The Branch. You'd be so welcome to join us. Email georgina.orchard@stmaryscnorton.com.

If you would like people in the church to pray for you or with you, there are a number of ways of getting in touch:Prayer is a way of being with God and drawing close to Him to talk and listen to Him. Prayer is also a channel for God’s healing power and love.

- Place a prayer request on the prayer tree which you will find in St Mary’s church, 

- Place a confidential request in an envelope and post it through the vicarage door. 

- Send an email using our prayer email address office@stmaryscnorton.com

- Speak to one of the prayer ministry team at a 10:30 am Sunday service or to any ministers in Church.
