    • 9:00 AM - Family Craft Bags - St. Mary's Church porch

Collect your very own craft bag from St Mary’s Church porch each Wednesday.

Each week we’ll aim to make a family activity bag – something to make or bake. It will contain everything you need to entertain the family for a few hours of fun.

(One per family! Help to share the love even more widely.)

    • 12:00 PM - Midweek Reflections - Podcast

Sometimes we just need a few minutes of space and peace from the rushing world around us. That’s what I’m aiming for in this new series of midweek reflections – about 10 minutes of time out of ‘normal’ life and time pressing in to Jesus.

I’ve called them Close Encounters because we can’t be close to people at the moment, but Jesus always comes very close indeed, breaking every distancing rule there’s ever been, as he looks at and loves each individual he meets. We’re going to eavesdrop on some of the meetings and give ourselves a chance to encounter Him too. I hope these will be a blessing to you.

    • 3:00 PM - Mary's Meals - Delivered to your doorstep

We want you to know that St Mary’s Church is thinking of you and trying to provide useful resources to help us all in these difficult times.

If you are unwell or self-isolating and have no neighbour to shop for you and you require the delivery of a food parcel, please call 01608 646202 with your name, address and family size.

Mary’s Meals (providing frozen food) is partnering with the Chippy Larder (providing fresh fruit/veg and non-perishable goods from SOFEA*) to distribute food to anyone in need during this crisis. The parcels will be delivered to your doorstep on the following Friday.

Unfortunately, we are unable to do a personalised shop.

[*SOFEA is a registered charity. Please see their website for Terms & Conditions and to find out how to support their work during this time]

    • 10:00 AM - Coffee and Chat - Zoom

We’re really missing being able to chat informally as a church family face to face! So we’d like to invite you to join us for a pre-service coffee (bring your own!) and chance to say hi to each other.

A member of the clergy will host the Zoom and put one light-hearted question to whoever wants to come and join us for 20mins. If you don’t feel like talking, that’s fine too – just come and join in and see some friendly faces.

Email office@stmaryscnorton.com for this week’s Zoom link.

    • 10:45 AM - Virtual Sunday - Podcast and playlist

Whilst we can’t meet in person, we hope that these podcasts and playlists will help you to engage with God and worship him where you are.

Click here for virtual Sunday. Uploaded each Sunday by 8am.

    • 10:45 AM - Ablaze - Zoom

This season of isolation has given us millennials and Gen Z’s an opportunity to connect in different ways, which is super exciting, despite all the fear and uncertainty in our world at present. We’re running our ‘making disciples’ theme this season using Google Hangouts.

God has opened up new windows for us to engage with each other, encouraging each other to shine brightly in our current digital worlds and homes.

If you’re secondary school age and you’d like to join please email youth@stmaryscnorton.com.

    • 10:45 AM - One Way & Ignite - Video

If you’re missing your usual One Way or Ignite session then here is something just for you!

With fun from the team, great story videos and clever craft resources, we’ve put together Virtual One Way and Ignite, and we’re sure that you’ll love it.

Just click here for the Virtual Sunday page, and look underneath where the songs are.

Sunday mornings will never need to be dull and boring!

  • Monday, 13th July 2020

    • Although we can’t meet in person, if anyone is keen to join us in praying for the Building to Serve project, we’ll be meeting via Zoom between 12 and 1pm on Mondays.

If you would like to join us please email me (georgina.orchard@stmaryscnorton.com) so I can send you a link that will allow you to join in at the appointed time.

We are all being given the opportunity to get better at using this technology which is simpler to access in reality than it may at first appear so please don’t be put off!

Thank you to all those who are committed to praying into God’s plans for the Old Bank, and for the building to serve project.  We will continue to update you through the Prayer Tree so that we can all pray as and when we can.

      Thank you for your prayers!

    • 7:00 PM - Alpha Online - Zoom

These times have raised some pretty big questions for us all. It may be that you’ve got questions about life, death, the future, God and…well, everything.

With everyone so isolated at the moment, we thought it would be good to connect with others online, and to consider some of these questions together.

We’re running a course where we all watch a video about some of the questions around the Christian faith, and then chat about it together online. It’s called Alpha.

Fancy joining in? Then get in touch, so we can send you a Zoom link: office@stmaryscnorton.com or 01608 646202

Alpha starts Tuesday 16th June, via Zoom. Join us at 7:30pm to watch the 20ish minute video. Or watch the video beforehand and join at 8:00pm to discuss.

      Whatever works for you!
