Midweek Groups and Activities

Whatever age you are, or stage you're at, we'd love to welcome you to one of our groups or activities. "Come for Tea" and Thursday Communion happen midweek and during the day and are especially popular with the older members of our community.

Come for Tea

Come for Tea is our monthly get together for afternoon tea in good company. We meet on the second Monday of each month at 2.30pm in the Parish Rooms. We enjoy tea and cakes together before singing some favourite hymns.

We love meeting new people and you would be so welcome to join us. For information contact Amanda Gafford, on 01608 641284.

Out to Lunch

Out to Lunch is a monthly opportunity on a Tuesday to share a cooked meal together and enjoy a relaxed time after lunch. We meet at 12noon – 2:00pm in the Parish Rooms, but you are also welcome to stay for the afternoon until 4:00pm. If you would like to come, to help us with numbers for catering, you will need to have received an invitation by contacting Judith Marshall on 07753492654

Thursday Communion

We hold a said Communion every Thursday at 10.00am, with a short address. Visitors are always welcome and we enjoy tea and a catch up together afterwards.

Hymns of Praise

This service gives us the opportunity to sing our hearts out with our old favourite hymns, accompanied on the organ. It takes place in the warmer months in the church building at 3:00pm several time throughout the year and is followed by tea and cake.

If you need help with transport for any of these meetings please call the office on 01608 646202 and we'll try our best to help.
