Ukraine Response

St Mary's and The Branch have collated a wealth of information about the help, advice and services available to both hosts and guests, which you can view on our Ukraine Response page

In responding to the need in our community, The Branch & St Mary’s Church are also proud to extend welcome to any local Ukrainian guests and hosts at our weekly Connect Café.

We have Russian speakers available, and useful information and support, as well as a very warm welcome. This is not just a cafe for Ukrainians, we are integrating it into our Connect Café, as we want to build community, share the opportunity to develop language skills and are excited to learn more about Ukrainian culture.

Please do send this on to anyone you know hosting Ukrainians locally. If transport to the café is an issue, then please do not allow that to be a barrier, we have a bursary scheme offering seasonal bus passes and will also be partnering with other charities to provide transport.
