At St Mary’s, we're passionate about young people coming to know, love and follow Jesus. We want to provide a safe place for everyone, no matter where they are at in their faith, to feel valued and accepted. We want to share the life-changing love of Jesus with young people and support and inspire them for a life of faith. Our aim is to invest in them as individuals, equip them with God’s word and encourage them to apply their faith to their daily lives and be open about their faith with their friends.
"Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well."
1 Thessalonians 2:8

Mentoring continues to play a part in the life of youth work here at St Mary’s. Meeting one to one gives a space to many of the young people to share how they feel and discuss on a much deeper level, along with digging into God’s Word.
Our weekly community youth club runs from 3:15 - 4:45pm at Glyme Hall. Come along for games, sport, a cafe and a chance to chat. Visit the Remix Facebook page for more information. Check us out on Instagram @RemixChippy.
Joel was born and raised in Bristol and has lived there for the majority of his life, only moving to Cirencester later to work with the church there as part of his studies and leadership development. He is a bit of a board game geek and also loves sports, (not the most natural combination!). He also loves the outdoors and camping and tries as often as time allows to get away for a night or two with a big fire.
We really value time away together as a big youth group. We have a weekend away every year, alongside trips to Big Church Day Out and other summer camps like New Wine, Total Adventure and Sport Plus.
On a Saturday morning once a month, we have a boys hike, beginning at Top School at 9am. It finishes with a full english breakfast and a testimony back at St Mary's Parish Rooms, all finished by 12pm. What a great way to spend a Staurday morning!
